It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Blogmas

Every year I say I am going to take part in Blogmas, and every year I fail. I mean I have started a fair few times but I never quite manage to make it all the way through. I miss a day here and there and next thing I know, I’ve shamed myself into stopping. It’s weird how you can shame yourself, but unfortunately that’s been the case for me.

But this year I am doing things a little differently. I’m pre-writing some of my posts so that the majority are ready to go live without me thinking about them. I don’t usually prepare my content like this so it will be a new thing for me. It may be a little weird, and I think I will need to schedule some posts. But I am looking forward to doing it this way round. I am also hoping that this will help me improve with a proper schedule for next year as well. I’ve always been a little envious of other bloggers and their 3 months worth of posts. I don’t think I will ever get to that level but I’m hoping to have a few weeks at a time.

I haven’t yet fully decided on a schedule for this festive period. But I feel like some posts may be more done on the day rather than all scheduled in advance. It gives me the chance to make a little adjustments here and there for anything that may turn up! This mainly means if I see something I like and end up buying it, then it can be included without issues. I’m not sure this is the sort of behaviour I should be encouraging though.

I know this isn’t really a festive post but I will be making up for that over the next few weeks! But if there’s anything in particular you would like to see me write about, let me know and I will try to squeeze it in somewhere. Fingers crossed that I will be able to make this a lot more festive. I might need to get some glitter mixed into the photos!

Happy Blogmas!

Hasta la fuego
