As explained in a previous post I was gifted with some great quality hair products from an event that took place in Sheffield a couple of months ago, and after having been able to use the products continuously I’ve decided that it’s a good time to write up my opinions. I decided that the first products I’d use would be the salon quality products; Noir Caviar and Keratin Revolution.
Firstly I’d like to say that the Keratin Revolution was a leave in conditioner and, like the really bad blogger that I am, I have to admit that I rarely use conditioner. I find that with my hair being so thin it means that when conditioner is used it tends to get greasier quicker, and my hair doesn’t seem to be neglected from not using it. I did use this a few times but I found it didn’t really seem to work with my hair, and by that I mean I felt like my hair needed washing quicker.
I think that people who use conditioner a lot and for those who need to use conditioner it would be a really good product. Maybe if you use a hair dryer and/or straighteners a lot it would more than likely help to keep it in a good condition. Personally I wouldn’t recommend this to people who have thin hair as it could just make the hair greasier and in the long run you could be worse off using this.
|Noir Caviar Shampoo|
On the other hand, the Noir Caviar shampoo has worked great. The shampoo was marketed as being beneficial for people with thin hair as it makes the hair look and feel thicker. I have to admit that I was feeling a little sceptical about this as I’ve heard of many shampoos being made for this purpose but I’ve thought that it is something would actually happen. I am glad to say that I was pleasantly surprised. After the past two months my hair does feel a little thicker to me but I’m not sure if it looks it.
Although it seems to have worked I would like to say that it is only slightly thicker than previously. It’s not like my hair has suddenly just gone from being flat and thin to thick, luxurious. (Is luxurious even a word you can use to describe hair?) Part of me feels that as soon as this bottle is used up that my hair will revert back to its original state of thinness but I won’t know how true this feeling is until the full bottle is empty.
I do really like the product as it smells really nice, I don’t really know how to describe the smell but I do know that I like it. What confused me most was that even though my hair feels thicker the leave in conditioner still made my hair feel bad. Maybe conditioner in general is just something that I shouldn’t be using?
Overall, I would recommend the Noir Caviar shampoo to anyone who is wanting make their hair feel thicker and look thicker as it does really work and it doesn’t make the hair feel heavy or ladened down with product. However I think that the Keratin Revolution conditioner makes the hair feel like there is too much product in it.
If anyone else has had a different experience with these products I’d love to hear your thoughts! 😀
Hasta la fuego!
