I recently took part in, potentially, one of my favourite blogger gift swaps. A tea exchange! It’s also the first time that I’ve ever taken part in one! So I was really excited to get my gifts to exchange, as well as await my parcel in the post!
Over the past few years I’ve found myself getting more and more into tea. Shocking right? But I did only drink your standard breakfast tea at one point. It started with some chamomile to help me sleep, and then when I was in Spain I didn’t want to keep buying milk so bough a crazy selection of flavoured and herbal teas. I still kinda miss the Rooibos that I had, but I can’t remember the brand to even try and search for it in the UK. You bet the next time I’m in Spain I’ll be going down the tea aisle to curb my craving!
In February, my favourite American, Becca from Tea with B asked if I’d like to take part in a collaborative post. I agreed, and we swiftly decided on a tea theme. Something close to both of our hearts. If you want to see her thoughts, head to Tea Exchange with My Lavender Tinted World.
What I got Becca
I’m not going to lie, I may have panic bought slightly with this! I wanted to try and get some different brands, that I wouldn’t expect you to be able to find in the USA. But also with a fruity flavour to them.

I’ll hold up my hands and say I’ve not tried the Twinings ones that I bought and sent. But as Becca stated she preferred teas made with fruit I thought a selection of a few different types was the best way to go. This way if there are any that you don’t like, you don’t have to worry about going through a full box. Yes, this is how I think about things like this.
What I got from Becca
I really love the little bits and bobs that I got from Becca! And the post card picture of the Eiffel tower is definitely going up on my notice board, when I’m able to put it up!

I love all the little samples that I got and am looking forward to trying all these different types.
I think I’m most excited about trying the popcorn tea. As soon as I started opening up the little gifts I could smell this, but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was until I saw it. This tea came all the way from Paris! So if I like this, I may need to make an international trip to get any more! It honestly smells so good, but I will try to resist eating this as a snack.

Peppermint tea is one of my absolute favourites! I usually buy a supermarket home brand version, which is nice but not as strong. When I opened this tin it smelt like I had a tub of polos. I had forgotten what good peppermint tea smelt, and tasted of! I think I will have to stop myself from drinking all of these in one go as they are just so nice! It may have ruined my cheap 80p a box brand that I currently have.

I’ve not had any loose leaf black tea for a while, but I do enjoy watching the brew in my little jug that I have. I’m looking forward to trying this one!
I had been wanting to try some new types of tea and I’m really excited that I’ve been given this lovely selection from Becca. It should save my purse for a few weeks while I make my way through it all.
Yes, I’ll hold my hands up! I’ve not yet tried any of the teas from this tea exchange! I wanted to make sure that I had the best pictures and didn’t want to ruin the packaging. But you can bet that I will be firing up the kettle and trying one of these tonight!
If you have a tea rec for me, send them my way! I’m looking to find my favourite flavours, and I’m constantly being surprised every time I picked a new box up!

Hasta la fuego
