If you were to ask me what my favourite make up brand was, it would be Sleek. I’ve been using the brand for a few years now, and I love every single one of their products. But what I love the most is their Matte Me Up range, specifically their lip colours. (Although the nail varnishes look good as well!)
I’ve been using a range of these products since 2017, but I’m only focusing on a set I received for Christmas. You may ask why? and the simple answer is because they were still in their box and they looked great! There were only three colours in this box and I already had two of them, so I’d not needed to open them before. One day I may do a full post on all of my Sleek Make Up, including all of my Matte Me Up colours. But that is going to take a lot of time to find them all out…

What is Matte Me Up?
Sleek have created a range of products that have a matte finish, in the simplest terms. The nail varnishes start out shiny and soon move to a matte look. The same happens with the lip colours as well. Although, these also have an added benefit.

Personally, I prefer the metallic colours that they have. It gives an added shine to my look and makes me feel wonderful.

This colour is Shabby Chic and I honestly think it’s my favourite nude colour by them. It matches with my skin tone, and the colour of my lips so well.

This velvet slipper is a lot darker, and I think that it washes me out a little. I think if I created a full, grunge-style look it would be perfect. But when I’ve used it for a more toned back look it seems off. Won’t stop me from wearing it though!
I think out of the three I am loving Electroplated Nude the most. I love shimmery shiny colours, and I think it’s light enough to be able to be worn as an every event and time colour. This is perfect for me as I don’t tend to go out a lot so I need something that I can wear through the day without it being too in your face.
Hasta la fuego
